The phenomenon of self-fulfilling prophecy<\/strong> is not new and you may have already experienced it in your life.<\/p>\n

That test you knew you weren't going to pass.<\/p>\n

Y you failed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That target that you thought you'd you could never reach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He did not manage to achieve it.<\/p>\n

Or that job you thought you didn't deserve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And that you never got to get.<\/p>\n

Sound familiar?<\/p>\n

\"Coaching<\/p>\n

There are many examples of self-fulfilling prophecy<\/strong> in your life that you are not aware of.<\/p>\n

Because you are able to condition you<\/strong> y condition your future<\/a> through what you think.<\/p>\n

And what you project into tomorrow.<\/p>\n

From your expectations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Your yearnings or desire to get what you want.<\/p>\n

That is why a self-fulfilling prophecy is nothing more than a self-fulfilling prophecy. predictive thinking<\/a> that conditions you so that eventually that thought is fulfilled.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It's as simple as that.<\/p>\n

Something to do with your beliefs<\/a> and even with those around you.<\/p>\n

Pygmalion and placebo as self-fulfilling prophecy<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The self-fulfilling prophecy does not have to be only something that limits you and prevents you<\/strong> get what you want.<\/p>\n

\"Coaching

The self-fulfilling prophecy can be used to achieve your goals.<\/p><\/div>\n

Herein lies the strength of this powerful mental representation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two clear examples of this are the so-called Pygmalion effect<\/a> and the placebo effect<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Pygmalion effect is nothing more than a belief that refers to the behaviour or performance of others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What conditions us to treat them as we believe<\/strong> they are or yield.<\/p>\n

This immediately makes let's adapt our own behaviour<\/strong> so that unconsciously the circumstances are given so that what we believe, is fulfilled.<\/p>\n

An example of this is the experiment they did Rosenthal and Jacobson<\/a> in the classroom.<\/p>\n

In it, a class was divided into two groups and the researchers told the teachers that one of the groups had a much higher IQ<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Educational

The Pygmalion effect in education is an example of a self-fulfilling prophecy.<\/p><\/div>\n

Which was not true.<\/p>\n

But he made that group to obtain better results<\/strong> only because of the unconscious predisposition of their teachers to treat them as what they thought they were.<\/p>\n

Another clear example of a self-fulfilling prophecy is the famous placebo effect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Or, in other words, the effect produced by suggestion by believing<\/strong> that something is beneficial to your health.<\/p>\n

Even if it isn't.<\/p>\n

This form of self-fulfilling prophecy is so powerful, that it is used in the pharmaceutical industry<\/strong> to test the validity of certain medications.<\/p>\n

Administering fake medicines<\/strong> to test groups while giving real medicines to other patients.<\/p>\n

To verify that the actual medicines are working without the direct influence of beliefs<\/strong> of those who receive or even supply them.<\/p>\n

Unbelievable, don't you think?<\/p>\n

The self-fulfilling prophecy in coaching<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At coaching we work<\/a> with the client's beliefs in order to overcome those obstacles that seem insurmountable.<\/p>\n

In many cases, we encounter self-fulfilling prophecies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What's curious is that generally, these thoughts will make you think usually slow down<\/strong> to get what you want.<\/p>\n

But as you have seen, you can also use these beliefs or expectations<\/strong> in a positive way.<\/p>\n

So that you can achieve that<\/strong> you want the most.<\/p>\n

Of course, it's more complicated than just thinking about what you want most and having it come true.<\/p>\n

Reframe<\/a> to move forward.<\/p>\n

If so, society would be very different<\/strong> to what it is today.<\/p>\n

But from coaching we offer you tools<\/a> and processes in which you are going to support your steps towards your goal in the motivation and values that will help you to get what you want<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Making your future even much more<\/strong> than a self-fulfilling prophecy.<\/p>\n

Making it become your new reality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
